Thrilling Saturday of College Football Delivers Exciting Upsets and Comebacks

The most anticipated game of the season didn't disappoint as No. 4 Alabama held off No. 2 Georgia in a dramatic top-five showdown. Alabama stormed to a commanding 28-0 lead, but Georgia clawed its way back, setting up a nail-biting finish in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide sealed the 41-34 victory with a spectacular catch-and-run touchdown by freshman Ryan Williams, followed by a game-winning interception in the end zone by cornerback Zabien Brown.

The excitement began earlier in the day when unranked Kentucky shocked No. 6 Ole Miss on the road, 20-17. The Wildcats capitalized on a missed field goal by the Rebels in the final moments of a hard-fought contest.

In yet another upset, unranked Arizona stunned No. 10 Utah in a late-night showdown, pulling off a 23-10 victory on the road.

Oklahoma, ranked No. 21, also pulled off an SEC victory by staging a comeback against Auburn, punctuated by a crucial pick-six. Meanwhile, No. 16 Notre Dame held off No. 15 Louisville in a close battle, and No. 9 Penn State took care of business at home against No. 19 Illinois. Colorado cruised to an easy road win over UCF.

To wrap up an incredible day of college football, No. 25 Boise State leaned on running back Ashton Jeanty to secure a dominant 45-24 win over Washington State.
