No. 4 Alabama Halts No. 2 Georgia’s Comeback Bid, Wins 41-34

With under 50 seconds left and Georgia closing in on the red zone, Alabama defensive back Zabien Brown intercepted Carson Beck’s pass intended for wideout Colbie Young in the end zone, sealing a 41-34 victory for the Crimson Tide.

Alabama dominated the first half, scoring four straight touchdowns, amassing over 350 yards of offense, and sending Tuscaloosa into a frenzy. However, Georgia stormed back in the second half, outscoring Alabama 27-11 and scoring three straight touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

Carson Beck, after a rough first half, rallied with 339 passing yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to avoid snapping Georgia’s 42-game regular season win streak.

What looked like a blowout in Alabama's favor turned into a potential game of the year. The Crimson Tide improved to 4-0, giving head coach Kalen DeBoer his first-ranked win of the season, while Georgia dropped to 3-1.
