Marc S.: I've watched football for decades, and that facemask penalty called on the Giants in the first quarter may be the worst officiating I've ever seen—especially since it was actually committed by the other team.
Jay S.: Usually, in game discussions on The Athletic, fans insult the other team or criticize the refs. But in Cowboys vs. Giants, it's the fans bashing their own teams—and rightly so.
Terence B.: I wanted Daboll to succeed and have overlooked some of his questionable decisions, but keeping Eric Gray on kick returns and giving the ball to an ineffective rookie RB on a critical 2nd & 6 during the most important drive of the season shows he's in over his head. It’s time to move on. At least a full rebuild is coming in 2025.
Steve R.: Tonight showed exactly who Daniel Jones is. He makes receivers work for easy catches, takes too long when quick decisions are needed, and consistently underthrows receivers who’ve beaten their defenders.
